BLACK TOURISM!

BLACK TOURISM!

Its greatest example in the world is Armenian vandalism

"The tourism, which is vital demand for the people, is widespread and the most popular type of active recreation. Surely you know that thousands of people join the ranks of the travel lovers every year, and tourism becomes increasingly widespread.

The people who love to travel enjoy different types of the tourism. Some people like ecotourism, mountain tourism, nature tourism, while others like hunting tourism, health tourism, cultural tourism and historical tourism.

Among the types of the tourism there is a not so popular “black tourism”. Although today some people know little about this special type of the tourism, there are enough travel lovers in the world who use “black tourism”."

So, what is “black tourism”?

As we can see from its name, “black tourism” in historical sense is a type of the travel to special places associated with the battles and tragedies. There are open museums and monuments, memorial complexes associated with this type of the tourism in different countries of the world. Visiting these places, the people really get acquainted with historical tragedies experienced by this country and its local peoples.

Of course, there are much information about these tragedies in historical sources. However visual image becomes subconscious memory for life.

Although today there are a significant number of places for “black tourism” in the world, the largest example of it has appeared on the territory of Azerbaijan since 2020. After occupied lands of Azerbaijan had been liberated during the Second Karabakh War after 30 years of the occupation, the humanity witnessed terrible picture.

Armenia, which had kept Karabakh under the occupation for 30 years, reduced to powder these lands. These ruins, which is clear manifestation of Armenian vandalism, have been recognized as perhaps the most terrible place in the world for “black tourism”. After the war, journalists, diplomats, and travellers from all over the world experienced shock during their visits to Karabakh. After foreign citizens saw the horrifying picture in Aghdam, they called this city the “Hiroshima of the Caucasus”.

The President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, tasked with the establishment of the occupation museums in our liberated lands in order to demonstrate Armenian barbarism to the world. Thanks to their construction, along with cultural, mountain, nature tourism, ecotourism, conditions were created in these historical places for the spread of “black tourism”. Everyone shall visit Lachin, Aghdam, Shusha, Fuzuli and witness Armenian vandalism.

The Museum of Occupation in the open air in Aghdam, the Museum of Bread with ancient history and Memorial Garden Complex shall turn into the most real example of “black tourism” in the future.

Aghdam Museum of Bread, founded in 1982 and received its first guests on November 25, 1983, shall be one of the most interesting places for “black tourism” lovers. Today, the government of Azerbaijan, in particular Heydar Aliyev Foundation led by first vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva, restores our destroyed cultural, historical and religious monuments in Karabakh and East Zangezur. In several years, “black tourism” lovers around the world shall witness Armenian horrors by travelling to these historical territories.
